The cursor sits on a grid and trails a line behind it. Hold a key to run. Lines stay square, so a fast key-roll never smears into a diagonal.

Start typing anywhere and a label appears at the cursor. Click any word later to fix it in place.

⌥Bor trace four sides

Draw a rectangle and it becomes a box. Text inside wraps to its edges and the box grows to fit. Move the box and everything in it comes along.

What a sheet holdsand the board didn't

Boxes that adaptText in a box owns its rows, border to border. Write in a corner, in the middle, anywhere. Blocks never overlap, and the box makes room.
Headings, colours, highlights, facesTitle through small text, bold, italic, underline, nine colours, nine highlights, and six typefaces from a clean sans to a script.
PicturesPaste a screenshot with ⌘V and it lands at the cursor. Paste inside a box and it fits the box. Copy it back out with ⌘C.
Arrowheads that turnTab drops an arrowhead pointing the way you last moved. Click it to turn it a quarter turn.
Folders for projectsOne folder per subject or term. Drag sheets in and out. A new sheet lands in the folder you are working in.
Whiteboard by day, chalkboard by nightFollows your system or pick one. Every colour on the sheet is chosen for both grounds.

`⇧` + arrows	Move without drawing.
`Space`	Lift or drop the pen.
any letter	Start writing at the cursor.
`Return`	Next line. Inside a box, a new line in the same block.
`#` then space	Make the label a heading.
`⌘A` `⇧←` `⇧→`	Select all, or a run of words, then type over it.
`Tab`	Arrowhead pointing the way you last moved.
`⌥B`	Box. Arrows size it, Return keeps it.
`⌥V`	Select a region and carry it somewhere else.
`⌘V`	Paste text or a picture at the cursor.
`Delete`	Erase what is under the cursor.
`⌘Z`	Undo.
`⌥0`	Find my notes: fit the whole sheet on screen.
`⌥T`	Theme: auto, light, dark.
